2025-06-12: Air India Boeing 787-8 (VT-ANB, *2013) lost height and crashed shortly behind the end of runway 23 at Ahmedabad Intl AP(VAAH), India with 244 on board. So far there are no survivors. Flight #AI171 was on its way to London-Gatwick Intl AP(EGGK). More to come..

But if we believe what "journalist" Barkha Dutt said was partly true - that it was Capt Sabharwal who made the "Mayday" call, then he was the PNF and it was Co Pilot Clive Kunder who was the PF!
