Back on the Revival Jam game. Working on plotting on the level and wrapping up some player mechanics. Big addition is the loot bag. It grows as you collect loot and augments your moveset as it grows. More on that coming soon.

As I move beyond the Prologue, I'll be starting to create what I call Epics. These are larger sets of quests that are meant to have larger effects on the galaxy. 1st one up is about the verminous Skra and their extremely fracture society.

Trying to expand the combat systems so that they are more than just move character and shoot. One of the new additions today is Weapon Penetration and Armor. These values are a new factor when decided how you engage with you squad.

Some final touch ups on the Galaxy Map. The Space Lanes are now working properly, without me having to manually connect each one individually, and Planets can populate themselves with points of interest on their own.

With the prologue nearing it's end, I'm shifting my priorities towards more art practice, doing a visual overhaul, mapping out the galaxy, and developing more objective types.

Not gonna lie, today was a bad day and almost ended this challenge.
Some assets somehow reverted back to an earlier state, and I had to spend my dev time today just fixing that. Not entirely sure what caused it, but I'm going to find out.

Today was more of a cleanup day. Code, level-design, and adding save points.

Considering weekdays, I'll work on the main project. Then on weekends, I'll work on the side project. Since the main project is just adding levels and mechanics.
