I saw Lukas Nelson at #FarmAid40 last month. He is Willie Nelson's son. He just released a cover of Neil Young's song, Unknown Legend. This article is pretty cool... another Nelson linked to Neil Young through music.

We just had the **40th** anniversary of Farm Aid on Sept 20.
We have needed a benefit concert for farmers for 40 muthafucking years because of what was started by Reagan after his election in 1980. This is what they want.

Straight up: I’m not onboard with farmers getting another bailout when so many voted for Trump two and three times. But what Trump is doing to them is brutal.

We were invited to participate in #FarmAid40 this past weekend. We first thought that meant our Urban Roots band would be rockin' on stage, but we instead operated the HOMEGROWN Youthmarket stand, selling produce and baked goods. The organizers probably made the right call.☺️

Apparently, I was photo-bombing Neil & Dave as they were signing #FarmAid40 auction items. I try to stay out of the way, Farm Aid isn't about me... but I was able to thank Neil, "for everything." He saw my More Barn cap, covered tour pins. Sorry, not sorry, for the unintentional photo-bombs.

I actually teared up during Neil Young's performance at #FarmAid40. He's a very strong voice against the current administration's fascist bullshit. He and his wife are both advocates for family farms.
