Just here for art and hot takes.
Being hot is a deeper meaning. It’s just not a deeper moral meaning, unless you associate hotness with some form of morality/ethics.

Which often it *is* associated with morality/ethics, so even if you don’t find a deeper meaning, someone else will.

Glad you’re enjoying it! It really is something special.

Why not both?

The discord for the game is very helpful, and the game has an extensive wiki too.

I’m desperate for more people to play/try this game, it deserves love. And it’s so very thought provoking.

You might be interested in The Last Sovereign, if you haven’t played it already.

“Too much text”

-well now I need to find time to play it.

The thing that stood out to me were the companions, specifically stuff like mono W lurrus or running both the even and odd in a mono b deck

There’s also dovescape and from a surprise perspective mono W counterspell lockout feels weird.

I guess the potential “surprise” aspect is what I’m against

Want to shout out a game that kind of awakened me to the contrast between nihilism and porn, and how we typically have a nihilistic framing of sex, The Last Sovereign. It’s very much not a utopia, but the struggle is internalized in character actions in a way that many settings just fail to do.

I think has both an external fight and a more important internal fight, the internal fight which is vastly more important.

Lord of the Rings is somewhat utopian in that the conflict centers internally on characters choosing to be good, rather than the external conquering evil.

Finally, I do- 2/3

Ask and ye shall receive!

Morning Glory Milking Farm is about finding utopia (and a giant minotaur lover) in a world that’s very comparable to today.

Maru isn’t as smutty (degrees, not absolute)- but is about a pretty utopian world.

A memory called empire isn’t as utopian as the others but 1/?

I’ve been wondering something tangentially similar, though I’ve found some indications that porn is allowed to be more of a utopia than other books, but is generally disregarded because of a “porn” element even w/ a deeper message. An easy answer is more insulting than no answer, for audiences?

How did you treat early access games? Were they ignored, or counted as the year they “officially” released?

Places in America (like Texas, it’s state by state) have been implementing them since around 2022. The SCOTUS just ruled in Paxton V Free Speech that blocks similar to the UK law are allowed at least for the purpose of banning child pornography. It’s state by state, currently.

AI, notoriously difficult at managing context, is obviously keyed in to replace one of the most context dependent academic fields.

I fucking love cross ange and nothing about it should work.

But it does, and that’s part of what’s beautiful about the world.

It may not be as good as I’m thinking, but the Black mages provide tokens to sacrifice, while still triggering off hecatomb. It sucks losing their presence, but if you’re low on spells anyways, like later in the game, it may be a decent finisher to put opp. on a timer. Depending on deck strength, ofc

This actually seems to fit pretty well with the new black mage archetype from FIN.

The thing is, I feel like it did a good job of exploring the 0085 premise while still telling a story set in it. We just didn’t *focus* on 0085.

Standard 24 min episodes, x12. Typically the complaints are twofold- it’s nostalgia bait (which it is, if you haven’t you should watch 0079 in some capacity)- and it’s too short.

So, if you want a short Gundam series that plays with some of the ideas from the Universal Century, it’s good.

Just a question- what’s the difference between “firing” and “impeachment” from a legal standpoint?

Since weird theories are apparently in vogue now, and all.

Don’t think so! I’m not sure how it works with Fiery Gambit though, any idea how that resolves?

Can’t help but feel like this card is busted but I can’t think of what to do with it.

Strip Mine?

Academy Ruins?

Man lands?

Man(a) lands?

The psuedo-libertarians I know also have issues with the existence of restraining orders so I’m not exactly surprised to see this.

Winning the war doesn’t solve all, or most of Zeon’s problems; it *does* create a bunch more.

The E.F. should exist in this timeline, and I imagine Zeon is stretched thin to keep from a (presumably) rearming earth federation from(potentially) reinvading. Maybe that’s a plot of Gquux!
