fwiw there is a wave of late career people on YouTube who have been replaced by AI and are in the process of reinventing themselves

No magic answers, but a lot of people sharing what is and isn’t working for them

What do you think it looks like to face the problem?

(Particularly without Democrats in power in the USA)

well said

I think the issue is not having the rule of law. Instead it’s with the bias in our laws/legal system
This is part of the Just World fallacy, that the Law will protect good people + usually works well.
Ditto with the belief in "good gov" as part of Just World fallacy.
Non-marginalized people can get by without having to check those assumptions.
So they are aghast when you point out the fallacy.

Tell it to Google, Uber, AirBnB etc

I 💯 agree btw, nonetheless the history of law enforcement and tech tells me Big Tech can steal big now, maybe pay later & remain

Women and men don’t have equal responsibility to stand up bc it’s Trump?
November 29, 2025 at 1:38 AM
I do not buy-in to the idea of men as the ‘saviors’ of women. At all. The women and then in the room share equal responsibility.

Not more or less-depending on gender.
November 29, 2025 at 1:19 AM
Why don’t they bear equal responsibility to stand up?

Having different expectations for men & women in that workplace perpetuates the myth of inequality

In general the historically Google search based stolen images didn’t

1- make the mistakes the GenAI images do (like the example)

which undermines the presenters credibility

2- They also didn’t have the destroy-the-environment cost that GenAI imagery does
November 28, 2025 at 5:45 PM
Why don’t you have the same expectations and standards for BOTH the men & the women in the room
November 28, 2025 at 7:01 AM
As do the women in this press core apparently
November 28, 2025 at 6:32 AM
WHY especially the MEN? My expectations are equally high for all

Does this “defense spending bill” need a simple majority or a super majority to pass?
November 26, 2025 at 9:14 PM
Frankly, it’s difficult to forgive her. And so difficult to praise her strong work.

Because we are so disgusted with her unethical behavior which cost this case a fair trial!
November 26, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Are those TOS going to pass the legally reasonable bar?

(Setting aside that OpenAI ought to gate the self-harm content. Especially when the user is a minor. TOS only hold up in court if they are deemed reasonable.)
November 26, 2025 at 4:12 AM
She should be. Trump will pardon her of course

Nonetheless we need a GIANT SPOTLIGHT on the March 15th key event: the Executive Branch illegally telling the Judiciary to get lost by ignoring a judicial order
November 26, 2025 at 3:57 AM
I’m hoping this TOS tactic doesn’t work.

Personally I don’t think TOS can be deemed legally “reasonable” if they don’t directly address suicidal ideation or suicidal assistance (which the app gave).

But more importantly why wasn’t the functionality/topic gated? Especially for a minor.
November 26, 2025 at 3:48 AM
Excellent. But this teen is dead. Did he disaffirm the OpenAI TOS?
November 26, 2025 at 3:44 AM
That’s an interesting tactic. TOS is a legal binding agreement. This may turn on whether the terms are deemed to be reasonable.
