For me the most boring part of modern Digimon games is when the story has to ease us into the concept of Digimon as creatures.

At this point, for every two hours of Silent Hill 2 video essay produced recently, there's maybe a minute of something I haven't heard and I'm being very generous.
Ya gotta understand, in the early 2000's, this was baby's first game analysis. Everyone with a PS2 and internet access did it.

I just learned there’s an AI powered calculator that’s being touted as “the most accurate calculator”.
Not only is that a lie (because AI) but I need some data on regular calculators being inaccurate. Best as I can tell, they’re pretty fucking accurate.

I think something kinda funny about officially trained Keyblade masters, like the organized kind, is there is a test that I am absolutely sure has lead to seekers of darkness in the past.

So I've seen that a character was confirmed to be a lesbian in Hazbin Hotel and there are folks upset because this is "just like Rowling and Dumbledore."

I think back fondly of 2016 if only because there was a time where the GOP was desperate for anyone other than Trump to win the nomination for republican candidate.

I find myself feeling like there is a level of niche with gaming tastes that kinda... disqualifies you(?) from helping decide if a game is good or not.
If your only criteria for a game (or really anything) is just one super specific thing, I don't think you're bringing anything to the conversation

There's a tweet saying when we were kids Surf Dracula would be a show that's about weeks episodes of the title character surfing in various adventures but today's model would waste all of season 1 just establishing how and why he surfs before ever grabbing a board.

The power of stories is the left hand to propaganda's right.
I am of the personal belief that most (not all) stories of any sort of content or theming can be enjoyable if it's told well and consistently.
The same rings true for propaganda. If it's done properly and hits you just right, it works.

If I could have tweaked the Lion King 2 ever so slightly, I'd have had the inexplicable Scar loyalist lions (he starved everyone and his only political stance seemed to be just jerking himself off over how he's in charge. I think we as a collective need to overhaul how we deal with the right. We keep expecting civility, shame, and common sense to pull through when it never will. More importantly: just because a lot of people on the right listen to someone, that doesn't mean they're worthy of public debate. Like Pearl

So I dunno if you knew this about me, but Scrubs was for the longest time my favorite show. I can quote pretty much any scene from the first five seasons without much thought and if you gave me 30 seconds, I could quote seasons six through eight pretty well too. It's coming back soon-ish.

As someone who is a cis man who actively tries to look inward (though not as much as I should) I would like everyone to understand that the title of “good man” is causing harm. It’s a shield. More often than not, it’s an excuse to prevent self-improvement and check unresolved sexism.

After having spent much of my life playing but not completing the entirety of Dark Cloud 2/Dark Chronicle, I finally beat and platinum'd the game.

Let’s clear something up. PETA does this every couple years in order to get their name back in more mouths. They dont actually think these games they rail against are harmful to how we see animals and I can prove it pretty easily. It wouldn’t stop.
