I haven't sourced parts yet but I'm working on converting a mid 60s chevy. It's got a lot of space for batteries, is in really good shape cosmetically, and doesn't have much actually going on that I'll need to remove or adapt. Solid front axle tho so maybe it'll need modern suspension eventually idk

More and more its looking like EV conversion of existing vehicles is the way to go. You tear out the engine and whatnot, mount a motor, batteries, and a BMS then you run power to everything that needs it. Everything can be worked on because it has to be for the owner to do the conversion themselves
