New mug I made! I really love the beveled rectangular handle.

The white thickens at the bottom of the band and almost hides the raw Clay stripe under it. The bottom stripe is a bright red. The stripe pattern is the same on the handle. It sits on a book and against a bowl with similar colors (cream and a slightly more muted red).

I referenced a photo of the upside-down original. It’s tilted forward a bit and the feet should cover the area where the base/foot would be. I cut the legs to fit the upright bowl slope and pushed the bowl down in front a bit after. I propped up the feet against the bowl when drying it bowl-down.

Pewter Menorah with all 9 candles lit. The menorah has a kind of ‘chunky art deco’ design, in that everything is a curved and flared rectangle. The candles on each side are orange, yellow, navy blue, and magenta, with a light blue candle slightly elevated in the middle.

I hadn’t even taken any hand-building classes at that point, I say follow your dreams and do your best to copy the feet on the original- they have pictures of them from multiple angles! I propped the feet up a little as they dried (upside down).

I loved feets bowl so much I made myself an homage
Small clay bowl with feet, bowl tipped slightly forward, as viewed from a side angle. It is glazed shiny black inside and outside, breaking reddish-brown on the rim and other edges. Dull gold-colored striations run in clumps from the rim of the bowl. The striations have an ombre effect and turn a lighter gold and then faint green before disappearing.
