For a while my intent was to get that zoroark illustration card in as many languages as possible and as far as i know, i am missing spanish, portuguese, german, italian and french.

Yeah it can be a bit sketchy in that way, you get something graded for a few things. Big ticket cards in the hundreds of dollars... Because you will be selling them or because you have the disposable income to hold on to it. Older cards and misprints for authenticity confirmation, or major faves-

I mostly was collecting zoroarks and yveltal stuff, stuff i was chasing was not quite crazy expensive but nuisance enough haha. I think it is safe to say i used to have a better paying job and have fallen behind, but the 2025 price of packs has rendered impulse etbs just unmanageable in canada

man i miss being able to indulge in this as a hobby. between the inflation, scalping and the price of a typical chase card skyrocketing i've had to abandon the hobby entirely.

as much as i hate the one-button rotation for many reasons, i can appreciate its accessibility uses letting disabled players play easier and you still need to pop cooldowns and utility spells separately. just feels like a move towards mobile gaming style features where the game almost plays itself.

honestly curious, average grocery stores in the states, how are the international isles? we get a lot of european candy and chocolate and some of them are really good for being literally just chocolate. flake bars are pretty great D:
