Going 2x+ the speed of a normal bike brings out the worst in some drivers.
You’d think going a speed closer to theirs and keeping it relatively consistent should make for a safer ride compared to being on an acoustic bike. But they HAVE to pass, even when approaching a light.

Trying to get used to pedaling. So far I don’t know that I’ve reached a point where it feels like I don’t need more gears to make it feel really smooth. But I’m experimenting and have only ridden it a handful of miles.

But they can and they have! Hasan has said as much on his show. And while it's not worth being paranoid all the time, some caution is certainly warranted, and Hasan is calling people idiots for suggesting otherwise.

Mainly, Hasan is being unreasonably aggressive to people who suggest that perhaps Platner is a CIA asset and shouldn't be trusted. He doesn't believe it's possible for the US to make a long-game play to compromise socialists by creating a Platner years ago and activating them at the right time.
