Apart from the first 2 films I’ve not rated another one of these above 1 and a half stars yet.

There’s a story behind why I made this, when the podcast I’m on covered the Halloween films one of the co-hosts ended up watching Halloween (2018) instead of the 2007 remake an then got really confused when he was watching Halloween 2 (2009).

Is it super cliche to say Halloween? But which one? 🤔

If this were a question of cinematography alone then Das Boot was robbed. But overall direction, it’s tough. Personally it’s between Das Boot and The Thing for me.

I love John Carpenter and Alan Howarth’s score for this one too.

Halloween 3 is seriously underrated. It’s a great standalone movie.
