'Haven't seen you around before. You new here?' he asked. 'No. I'm just passing through.' 'Shame.' 'I'll be in town for a week, at least. Crashing at a friend of a friend's.' 'Well, if you want some company, I'd be happy to oblige.' 'Oh? Who said I was lonely?' He laughed. 'Your eyes did, Miss.' He smiled lopsidedly, which made him look more bashful than suave. 'Well, anyway, I think you're mighty attractive, and I'd love to wine and dine you.' I took out my phone and handed it to him. The soft illumination from my phone screen lit his face. I saw his tongue casually flicked his cigarette. I bit down on my lip to stop a soft gasp from escaping. 'The name's Ricky. I'll call you tomorrow, Miss.' He squashed his cig, winked at me, and went inside. I wrapped my arms tight around my chest and ventured out into the street. My face hurt from smiling. --

So glad I finally live somewhere south enough that the grocery stores sell soft red winter wheat flour. Also for my fav scrambled eggs I use a splash of ponzu sauce&rice vinegar, salt+pepper, and a shitton of butter lol
