@qasimrashid.com do you think they will try this again tomorrow at the next Boston ceremony?

There is another naturalization ceremony tomorrow (Dec 10 1:30pm) at Moakley courthouse in Boston. Will DHS prevent more people from becoming citizens?

We need people to witness this.

Wow that’s depressing and scary.

Tolkien feels appropriate as a counter to this sentiment:
“Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends.”

And some of those people are being tortured: bsky.app/profile/trut...

Thanks for your reporting on these facilities.
Some of the treatment amounts to torture, the report says, including Alligator Alcatraz’s use of “the box” — a 2×2 foot “cage-like structure people are put in as punishment” — which inmates have been placed in for hours at a time with their hands and feet attached to restraints on the ground.

This is an insane bailout.

> Sacks owns property on Plum Island, including a uninhabitable home damaged by years of erosion and flooding. Sand fills much of the first floor, and the building sits condemned. But Sacks said he turned down a roughly $750,000 offer because the price was too low.

This is awesome, respect to the priest (Fr. Josoma) for doing this.

Quote from the Boston Globe’s article:

> “Jesus was a refugee,” said parishioner Margo Yie, 67, of Dover. “He had to flee his native country; his parents took him because they were worried he would be killed.”

And all those people are standing there endorsing his racist bullshit. Sad.
