I think the answer to your second question is that it varies quite a bit. As for learning about them, some are public gatherings that are widely publicized, some are public but not publicized and spread by word of mouth, and some are private.

I'll admit, I read this and I was thinking, "sandslash, really?" But I checked the Go Pokedex and my thought was, "oh, yea, it is the eyes, seems more emotional than most of the Pokemon".
Made me ask (other than the plants, babies & the joke ones like the trashbag) which ones are least attractive?

I guess I am not so sure of what type of law you practice, but why would the defendant be compelled to testify against their own interests and against the wishes of own lawyer? Is it some sort of civil proceeding where the 5th amendment doesn't apply?
