Agree with everything but have skinny Luka for MVP. Revenge narrative plus Lakers will make the media go crazy

Generic ballot could also shift more than it did in 2018 if the economy continues to slow

One aspect of party leadership being geriatric is that Democrats do not have a coherent vision of what a modern policy and political agenda would be. The love of unions and reliance on traditional media come from the same place

You’re overthinking this one a bit. Pritzker isn’t particularly Midwestern like say a Tim Walz was and swing voters in those states aren’t all that different than each other

I wouldn’t go off past election results given how fast the state is growing and changing. Sioux Falls is growing at a crazy rate while the rural areas are declining in population, changing the demographics of the state. A decade from now the state will look a lot different

I grew up in South Dakota and I’d be willing to bet the state will elect a statewide democrat before 2040. The state is rapidly urbanizing and more and more educated young people are staying home. Demographics aren’t quite there but continued erosion in suburban America could rapidly shift the state

Unfortunate how many of the Minneapolis mayoral candidates seem to think this way

Lots of recent events that could push Catholics from being 50-50 to 70-30 Dem if the party can push the right buttons. Relatedly, AOC should talk about her Catholicism because it would make her seem more moderate without actually changing any positions

Legal sports betting is probably net bad for society but the biggest issue is that the current Court would block any meaningful regulations around advertising etc. so Congress couldn’t limit its negative effects even if it wanted to. It’s fine for people to have a vice as long as we treat it as one

The analysis on COVID in schools also ignores the real issues that schools that reopened early had. My father was a Superintendent at a school that opened in August 2020 and they could barely run it because so many teachers got sick. Kids should top priority but teachers can’t be completely ignored

Focusing mainly on your best issues shouldn’t preclude you from taking advantage of strategic opportunities to weaken your opponents best issues. Democrats should talk about due process violations not just because it’s morally correct but because it can lessen Trumps advantage on immigration!
