And the final chapter of this grand adventure. The third and final monarch opened this morning and just flew off. It’s been a wonderful experience taking care of these fellas, and I hope to see more again next year~ <3

So I ended up taking the monarch caterpillars into a house on the porch to protect them. Only managed to find three of them. But already, they’ve been very cute! Two have even formed their chrysalis! Very exciting ^^

I counted at least six monarch caterpillars on my milkweed this evening. Yaaaay! How very exciting! Go, little guys! Go! <3

And I took the pan off to see what was floating around inside the base, and it’s the original counter!!! These are often missing! Used 353 times (if it wasn’t reset) meaning… it made $17.70. I don’t think that made up for the original cost xD

I’m beyond excited! Yesterday, I acquired my personal ‘holy grail’ of antique fans. A 1920s GE coin op fan! Used in places such as hotels, you’d insert a nickel and get 1 hour of cool, crisp breeze~ Gonna need to restore it someday <3 #ZippyAntiques

Got a new toy in the form of a 1966 Schwinn Panther. I’ve wanted one of these in coppertone for a while, and I couldn’t help myself when a local listing came up. Ooops!!! Will be fun to tune and clean though! Already turning heads with the neighbors x3 #ZippyAntiques
