TBH I'm not like that... I rarely run any paid races, I just like to run. For a longer one (half or full) I imagine it's nice to have the support of toilets/water stations, but overall... it's the distance/training that matters, not the medal or the place. But everyone's different!

I still remember that CD-Action issue when they added it to the magazine (with Deus Ex GOTY). Fun times! Apparently it was a big deal, because every copy had to have its own CD-key to access Battle.net.
If I'm not mistaken, it's the first Blizzard magazine game (at least they claimed so).
