I do hope to see this battle system carried forward and refined in the Legends games or some other kind of spin-off. It is a nice change of pace.

Even at just ok, I still had more fun with it than my least favorite Switch-era Pokemon game. hah

Also, Taunie is EASILY my least favorite rival from any of the main games. By a good margin. Lida and Naveen were all right though I wish we got more time with them.

Actually enjoyed the rest of the cast (for the most part), especially Corbeau and Jacinthe. Canari was pretty funny as well

Some of the side quests were pretty funny or expanded on the area in some way/life within Lumiose, and I appreciated those. Would love more of that.

The first game, Lone Fungus, was a pretty fun metroidvania with some pretty challenging optional platforming. Been looking forward to this next release for a bit now!
