Some time ago, I bought this cool framed newspaper from the 1906 World Series that shows players from the Cubs and the White Sox. I never knew if someone intentionally put a hole in it to create art or if they found it damaged. Anyway, I found the full page.

On this date in 1969, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Griffey of Donora, PA., was born at Charieroi-Monessen Hospital. They name him George Kenneth, but he will forever be known as THE KID! #OTD
