I miss bf2s system - rediculously drawn out ranks, weird and hard ribbons and medals, and none of them did anything but give you nerd cred. It's what we lived off. Me and my pals used to compare our bf2stats pages all the time at work. Now it's a chore to complete.

Here's my nuanced take:

Well, games professional is the CEOs, the game devs are the noobs of course.

My recent hypothesis is that AI is used in useless areas and creative spaces because there's no major punishment if it effs up, as it often does. Can't use it for anything important yet because it's not trustworthy, so they push art, and consumer spaces.

I mean, if any of those other games are new to you, I'd recommend them as well (especially with farthest frontier just hitting 1.0 recently) . But so far I'm enjoying 117, especially when the reviews state that it's more of the same from 1800, with extra systems. Makes me happy to continue playing.

But yeah, usually. I'll just do the shakes. Closest thing I can get to a nutrient cube that gives me everything in one go so I don't have to do the pesky eating, but sometimes I am just all about food so the app.

I dunno, I often cycle through them. I have some shakes (pilot brand) I got real cheap from the food bank I shop at, but lately I've been trying cleanslate.sh and it's been good just to know what I'm eating. It doesn't push me or judge me to make sure I track everything, it's just data.

I played 1800 and I got given 117, I love the games, kind of a resource management, automation, city building hybrid. I like cities skylines, banished, farthest frontier, rimworld, Factorio, this kind of sits as an amalgamation of all of them, but then I haven't done land combat yet (only 30hrs in)

and by "the thing" i meant I just want to share information and opinions, and learn how to do this kind of semi-casual journalism as I go. I'm editing videos of Pax Aus Games as we speak, I want to do that too. I just love discussing gaming and tech...
