I cackled a bit at the "functional and comfortable living space," because it's absolutely important for me for a longer term connection.

And I know men that are WAY too old for them to still not have achieved this. Some are friends and I just wanna shake em.

Oh for sure! The real target for me is are you worth my time and peace? Are you caring, considerate, and communicative? It's a bit more abstract but at the base it's a focus on inner qualities and stability and mutual respect.

And that goes even for a short-term connection. For me at least. 😁

But if someone wants to spend time with me, they've got to make the effort because I'll do the same in return. I'm a lover girl at heart and ugh, it's frustrating just to find something basic at this point.

Oh no, I'm saying that it's very likely that is what we mean by "he can't make reservations." Because I see it more than enough – it's "he won't do the bare minimum in arranging to spend time with me."

It's a bare minimum for me, granted I'm 40 and back dating after an 11-year marriage.

I've had guys say "let's do dinner, etc." and when it comes time to actually make plans (i.e. a reservation), it's crickets.

Obvs asks questions/listens is important, but we gotta get there first. 😖

Like, rather than have favorites on 4 diff home design/furniture sites, I save em to Pinterest so when I'm ready to buy I can choose accordingly.

I've been using it to collect/save design ideas for my apartment redesign. But it's the first time in a while for me.

I treated myself to this robe as a birthday gift, got it monogrammed, too (it was more on sale when I ordered)!
