We don't talk nearly enough about Harris's place as the last of the Hitchcock blondes.

Especially since she also serves as a foil for Karen Black as a character whose boyfriend is TRYING to make her a Hitchcock blonde, but it's not taking.

I approve on principle these days of a blockbuster director spending $200 million to tell fans to go away and try watching THE BAND WAGON instead. But intriguing concept or no, my god, the onscreen result is so inert.
