New arrival today, via Paperback Swap. This the first in a short series of Zork gamebooks published by Infocom in the early 80s. It's not Choose Your Own Adventure, it's not Pick A Path, it's What Do I Do Now.

Had a fun time today starting to explore the ruins of Xak Tsaroth (DL1 Dragons of Despair) in our periodic Dragonlance game. Draconians and gully dwarves! I'm running the power couple Goldmoon and Riverwind.

I played in the "Battle of the Moathouse" Chainmail game, which recreates the battle that led to the moathouse being ruined in T1. I was on the side of Chaos, and we kept the forces of Law at bay until the time ran out.

Yes, well, I have spent a lot of time with the various D&D Basic sets 🧙 Looks like there is another version of Dragon Master with the dragon art replaced! Someone must have realized that it was a swipe. This image is from Board Game Geek. Looking on Ebay, I see both versions.

The Dragon Master dragon appears separated-at-birth from Elmore's dragon on the Mentzer Basic D&D set (1983)...!
