I have friends that had horrible interactions with fake services animals that attacked their dogs, leaving them unable to perform anymore due to becoming reactive to other dogs due to the trauma. So I do want to hear both sides of this, but I think I was biased based on their experience too

Oh yeah I should have mentioned that I know it happens sometimes. I was under the impression that handlers were required to clean up after their dogs if so, but maybe the center had some kind of biohazard process that prevented it from being cleaned by the individual?

I think fake dogs are hurting service dog reputation more than the people trying to point out that it's a problem, but I can see where it could teeter into assuming ALL dogs are fake?

I already explained my reasoning was that some dogs were visibly uncomfortable and misbehaving. I've SEEN people lie about their status to sneak in pets before, and this person just doubled down saying that I'm hurting all dog handlers by making assumptions

Also I got some state tax fees amended so instead of 360$ I owe ZERO
