I have a lot to get off my chest. I am having AI shoved down my throat all the time. Actually, no. What is being shoved down my throat is the idea that AI is the epitome of evil. So let me be clear: Every Artist is a Thief. All artists are inspired by something, emulate something, and reproduce something in their own way.

My stepson recently went hunting through some local charity shops and picked up a few decks of cards for me. Among them was a souvenir deck from The Royal Yacht Britannia, Edinburgh. On the surface, it’s exactly what you’d expect: a respectable object from a deeply British institution. A standard souvenir deck with a nice gloss finish, perfect for a game of Bridge or a quiet afternoon of Patience.

This is one of the coolest things! My wife thought it would be cool to make me a "Brick Case" for the cards I take with me! This is almost as cool as the box she made for my decks, which I use for playing cards and RPGs.She heard me talking about brick boxes (boxes that hold 12 decks) and half-brick boxes (which obviously hold 6 decks), and she thought it would be cool to make me a Brick!

Over the years (decades?) What was the exact catalyst? Who were the original founders? Well, today is a day of achievement. Kinda.Not only did I start this blog, where I talk about most things I'm up to...but I kinda finished creating a deck of cards. I decided to create a deck of cards for Krystie as a Christmas gift. It took me a while, getting all the designs right, and making sure the other components were good too.
