There does seem to be a major issue with audio balancing. The first section I could barely hear the beam for the music and cutscenes seemed to respect Samus' distance from the speaker meaning 90% of dialogue was either practically silent or barely audible (a mercy in the abomination's scenes)

Shitty, grating-voiced, "WeLl ThAt JuSt HaPpEnEd!", abomination of something pretending to be a character aside, the game play is alright so far.
The couple of new mechanics I've encountered so far with the psychic abilities are interesting.
Damage seems a bit high for normal.
