Finally! The European Union is prioritising the ease of access to personal and private data for large tech companies!
So good that the EU politicians are starting to take their role as representatives of tech companies' interest more seriously than their side hustle of representing their people.

I still can't get over the fact that the ACL code of ethics is literally the ACM code of ethics with "ACM" replaced with "ACL". A code of ethics which does a really poor job at fitting with the work conducted at the ACL, because it was not developed for the ACL.
