Lemon curd and cream cheese pastry! Yes I stayed home the entire day to make it. Took 6 1/2 hours. Worth it.

Couldn’t wait for turkey day. Roasted a chicken. Top is savory, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Inside is a bay leaf with halved shallots. Liquid is a combination of water and cider with a splash of coffee for good measure.

Tried a new food today: Soan Papdi. Found it at a new Asian market in my neighborhood. It’s like a cross between cotton candy and fiberglass? Very tasty, but the texture takes some getting used to. I saw that’s it’s cardamom flavored and couldn’t resist.
