Yes, I think most directors with a budget will choose to hire one or more voice actors for that reason. And Morgan Freeman will always have voice work available, part of the appeal of famous voices is just that the movie could afford to hire them.

The problem with Avatar is it was *just* CGI. After saying "wow they did that on a computer?" there wasn't anything else to hold my attention. It was like watching a video game.

Oh. That seems improbable. You could sit there all day typing to the Ai "no, read it angrier!" but it would take the director one minute to read the line themselves the way they want and transfer it to the Ai voice, then the director is the voice actor.

Ok. Other people will. You asked the use case and that's it. It's a type of animation and people will make movies with it like they make other animated movies.

The one real issue driving the discourse is jobs. If someone doesn't need the job done anymore, it's hard to make the case that they should keep paying you to do it anyway. So instead they exaggerate every other issue. I think if the economy were fixed people would be more reasonable about Ai.

One use case is if you have a screenplay and can't afford to produce it with actors, you can do it with Ai for a fraction of the price, and significantly less pollution.

I don't think anyone believes that anymore than Walt Disney thought everything would be animation in 50 years. It's just another tool, and even the most-Ai dependent movie won't be all Ai.

He respects vaccines as much as his critics do, that's why he wants them banned. He used to be a noted environmentalist, and I think he still is, but he's one of those rare ones who thinks the planet would be better off if a few billion people died. So he's doing it. It's called ecofascism.
