Additionally, artists can tag their old images as hand-crafted in bulk. Do things slip through their filters? Sure, but the community itself is pretty diligent and armed with pitchforks for the mis-labelled.

3. To report an image as AI requires reporting the image and writing a 100 character complaint. This discourages complaints. How about an “Improper AI Tag” button on each image?

The site used to be an excellent resource. But most uploads are now AI and lie about it.

1. Avoiding AI requires toggling a “No AI” that is low in the filters list (scrolling). It defaults back to off between searches.
2. CM expects uploaders to tag ULs as AI—and few seem to, so you see mostly AI anyway. In the example, No AI is selected, but, 7 of 9 images are AI.

No AI Toggle returns to default “Yes AI” after each search or refresh. Image shows most images are still GenAI even when “No AI” is toggled on. Improper tags on images and collections leads to confusion and may trick end-users into purchasing AI images against their wishes.

AI is included, but AI is an engine for creating within the platform, not images for upload. So there is no AI until you go looking for the AI engine. They have no compensation model for creators from their AI generation.

On Dreamstime GenAI is on by default, but there is (finally) a simple switch that stays on to exclude it. Unlike other sites, Dreamstime doesn’t have an option to generate AI versions from images, so avoidance is easy.

but the image URL clearly says it is GenAI and all the work by the uploader is GenAI. So the site seems to expect the uploader to click an AI gen switch on UL, and trusts them to do it. So 123RF cannot be trusted to keep AI out of your products.

Does not allow GenAI and uploading breaches creator agreement. But in forums some uploaders state the opposite. There’s no toggle or preference on the platform, so if the forum is true there is no avoidance. Alamy seems to be partnering to create licensing that pays creators for AI.

First, after any search there is a toggle switch at the end of the filter options. That would mean you needed to click it every search.
