I've seen different methods used by different folks. From a personal brand image stamped on the piece to signature overplayed over the whole art to like a paragraph of warning text faintly over the image.

It honestly is whatever you prefer as a means to protect your art.

i drew this way back when i was a smol artist and never thought anyone would wanna steal or trace my work so i never properly signed or watermarked it. thats on past me completely.

I drew the first Bunnymund all lineless and smol while they took that traced it completely and made it a lined piece with bright ass yikes colors
