Ok, so real talk...
I've been doing a fuck ton of suppressing myself these last 6-ish years
These past few months I've been getting back to myself.
TL;DR: trauma, grief, suppression of self.
COVID isolation didn't help things, but by that point I had already isolated myself anyway.
