just saw Marty Supreme...... very similar to Uncut Gems in the "scummy guy running to different places and yelling over people" genre however I liked it better because it had older woman/younger man romance and a s****ing scene

I was being negative but it's actually crazy how much you can accomplish when you don't spend the first 5 hours of your day curled up in pain in a darkened room
the problem with having a chronic pain issue is that as soon as you have a "good day" you can't even enjoy it because you have so much shit you gotta do before the pain comes back

instagram and twitter are two of the worst social media sites but they both have the ability to private accounts (EXTREMELY basic safety/privacy feature) which somehow no one else can do... it's baffling

this actually made me even more frustrated with yellowjackets because SotS was constrained by reality and being nuanced and kind to the survivors, but yellowjackets is fiction and could've gone hog wild with the gore. but they didn't.
I actually found it MORE gruesome than yellowjackets, despite it being based on a true story. the crash itself was particularly brutal, with limbs being visibly/audibly crushed as the parts of the plane crashed into each other. (/positive)
