And this is Roland's (ocified) story 👏

1. A very loyal knight to the leader of the Ascendants, Luna. Often acts as her enforcer (and also the only ascendant who is taking care of housework in the entire group)
2. Considers himself a 'fool' and is looking to redeem his life, which he deems has been wasted for various reasons.
3. the ascendants are his only „true“ family and he will never betray them. This now includes Ember as their newest member. He doesn't tell Reg that he knows how or where she is until he is sure that Reg is „safe“ for them to reunite (also he hates humans)
4. Often merciless towards others (and himself).
5. Haunted by boredom.
6. Carries *a lot* of irreparable trauma from being exploited by humans.
7. He trains himself by thinking of worst possible scenarios so he doesn't get caught off guard.
8. Often alone on missions, and he is very chatty. Since he doesn't have an outlet, he will try to chat with his enemies. If he can, he will prod/tease constructs and humans.
9. Tries to internalize things he hates, which bites back in the form of depreciating his self-worth.
10. Says „Good morning“ even when it's not morning.
11. Likes surprising people by being annoying (and seeing how they react)
12. When he cares for someone, he wants them to be more like himself- to question things more, and never believe things how they seem. This includes him as well. He will lose respect for people who entirely let their guard down around him.
13. To hang out with someone he likes, he offers to 'bribe them' or 'prey' on their good will just to come a little closer, just to steal a bit more time.
14. Hides in his scarf when he doesn't want to talk to anyone.
15. He will endure anything and builds a lot of his self worth around being 'useful'.

The rest of his info tells you how he is scared of gifts because he might feel indebted, how he likes infodumping about his past, how he will remember kindness from humans, how he likes pretending to be "good" and how he met Reg #OCthings #RolReg

This one tells you how he keeps coming up with 'schrodinger's lies', and that he often decides on the spot what to go with (he is extremely indecisive)

it also tells you that he dislikes deceptive/manipulative individuals, and gives you a short story how he met Reg

TLDR: He was the one who gave Ember his virus to see if she could pass the filtering. She did, and he took her away. Since Ember is now an ascendant, he is trying to keep her from returning to the humans. While he was keeping them separate, he developed an interest in Reg (because of Ember's stories), and one day approached him. He decided to stick around and do more "testing" after he lost his voice from talking too much because he had fun with the human. He is wary of Reg, but also really wants to grow close to him. #OCthings #RolReg

Here's some info about these two! I'll start off with Reg's story, here:

1. Team leader of a clean-up crew that takes orders primarily from Hassen, and frequently acts as his informant.
2. His main task is corpse retrieval. Collecting dog tags, preventing SC technology from falling into Kurono hands, salvaging usable equipment and parts, cataloguing and identifying bodyparts, reconstructing corpses so they're recognizable, bringing serum from fallen squads back (and then giving it to people in conservation camps in form of charity), but also hiding evidence and helping faking deaths of certain people...
3. Technically not a commandant since he is only in charge of two mechanoids.
4. His job is seen as inelegant (like trying to get a corpse off some spikes and failing really hard), and there are many rumors about him and his 'crew', ranging in various absurdity.
5. His job is mostly 'safe', since he is dispatched to mission areas after battles/operations have already taken place.
6. Reg has to deal with a lot of suspicious people wanting to bribe him, but he has never accepted a bribe.
7. Cooperates with engineering squad (needs to borrow their tools) and purifying force (must not get in their way).
8. He is equipped with a powerful handgun, an exoskeleton (for manipulating wreckage), and heavy duty tools for dealing with debris. His exoskeleton is pretty strong and he can crush things with his grip. This is very good for basic self-defense.
9. He is very proud of his exoskeleton. He will brag about it to anyone who will listen.
10. Roland knows Reg is superstitious. That is why he sometimes takes control of his mechanoids or his tools or even his exoskeleton to spook him.
11. The grisly work of corpse collection doesn't bother him. He can tune it all out. Sometimes he will watch cooking videos to pass the time while doing it, or practice his singing.

Other points talk about his superstitious nature, how his MIND beacon became tainted, and describes how Hassen decided to keep him employed #OCthings #RolReg

Reg is still trying to find out the fate of his old construct because he still cares for her, despite that it almost killed him and permanently ruined his M.I.N.D. Her name was 'Ember'.

Reg regards his mechanoids as real people because they are his friends, even though they can only respond to him with pre-recorded messages.

He can be very brash. He will stick out a middle finger if he's very angry, or forcibly spit on the ground.

If he doesn't like someone, he will do his best to be as unhelpful as possible.

Regill buys lottery tickets every week. He doesnt „expect“ to win anything, but it's nice to have it in his chest pocket and think he has a chance.

The rest of his info describes some situations he was faced with at work, such as having to retrieve a corpse by pulling it out of cogs of giant machinery (it was stuck), or almost getting dismembered by a tentacled corrupted. His info also tells you that he sometimes has to fight, because the corrupted often hang around corpses he is supposed to retrieve. Luckily, this is where knowing a combination of boxing with other martial arts as well as having a sturdy exoskeleton comes in handy! #OCthings #RolReg

A pair of two ref sheets stacked on top of each other. One character (above) is a fan-oc, and the other is an oc-ified version for an existing, canon character. Both come from the game 'punishing gray raven'. The character above is called Regill, he is a commandant (but not the gray raven commandant!), and below him is Roland, a tricky member of the Ascendants group who are at odds with humanity and their attempts to reclaim earth from a devastating virus. Characters are oc-ified because it's easier to write fics and headcanons for them. #OCthings #RolReg

Was doing a quest in dd2 and it reminded me of my (OC) Regill.

If people in the conservation area asked him to do it, Reg would definitely go searching for flowers (Even if he knows there's 1% chance he'll find them). He'd even go searching for some fake ones in the ruins of shops and supermarkets.
