A couple of days ago I discovered a pair of ringtail possums have made a drey (nest) in an old palm frond high in my poinciana tree. I'll try to get a picture of them some time, but my phone camera isn't great and they're very high up 🌴

Yay, possum nesting box installed today. Hoping one of the brushtails will discover it soon, and move in before the next big storm hits 🏠 it's facing south to get the most shade

Omg I finally got this bandit who keeps pooping all over my house today outside! She's adorable, but bluey poops are no picnic 😑

This juvenile brushtail possum is out on her own tonight, which possibly puts her at about 9 to 10 months old. She's still a bit clumsy and lacking confidence but I must resist giving her much food 🥕 she's just had a little bit of carrot

Almost every night for the last few weeks, Clawde insists that I sit outside in the catio (Clawditorium) with him for a while. It's a bit annoying if I'm in the middle of something, but it's nice looking at the night sky and seeing the nocturnal critters scamper by

By far not the biggest hail stone here, but he's still cute

Kmart in Australia are doing Mad Mia style socks for Christmas this season, only $9 compared to MM $40 and actually pretty cute. I think the nibblings will wear them to death over the next 2 months

I found a fresh wasp nest high in my living room. I waited til the wasp was outside, sealed all the doors and knocked it down. It's full of FUCKING SPIDERS (don't click on pics if you have an issue with spiders). Brisbane in springtime 😑

Why do these big accounts like posts selling CSAM? Is it automated, or is the person controlling the account actually liking these posts? Every fucking day, I just don't get it
