I am in no way can judge any OSS project or any developer who works for a company or accepts grants from companies who have publicly supported killing honest humans.
Sadly, life is not that easy, and not everyone has a generational wealth that can help them survive.

it seems hard to follow two platforms at once, most people on twitter just created accounts on bsky but stopped posting, I think because they didn't see that much interaction or values from it

For marketing and attracting clients/work opportunities ... twitter is still the leading platform against bsky.
bsky seems like a chat room were people only talk to those they know, which makes it a bit more calm or not that interesting.
