Oh good lord I couldn't make it past the first season trailer. I was like, Oh good, Jewish women are ugly, brown-haired harridans whose husbands want to escape them so they can dream about Kristen Bell. Thanks for clarifying my place in the world.

I bet it was someone in British Columbia. Sometimes Canadian area codes get misinterpreted by US cell phones as foreign country codes. I assume this is a quirk of Canada having the same country code as the US but different area codes... my Toronto number sometimes comes up for ppl as New Zealand.

This admin has such an impoverished idea of what schooling is and what students can be. Schools can we places where we cultivate thriving kids and support them to become thriving adults. Let's prepare kids for life, for democratic participation, for so much more than work. #learnersnotlaborers

The "dismantling" of the Department of Education is really about abandoning learning in favor of a ruthless vision of kids not as kids, but as mere pre-workers whose childhoods do not matter and whose growth and development are mere inputs to the economy instead of goals in their own right.

This just inspired me to check, and the undergrad class I took on presidential power is no longer offered. Possibly because "who TF knows" is not a syllabus.

Can you borrow time from an actual data scientist if you promise THEM a really good dessert?
