seems they are different formulas

my personal experience - YMMV
- micro set did not damage my acrylics, mark setter did
- micro sol is not as good as mark softer to make the decals sink into panel lines/conform into curved surfaces.

i own all 4 producs

also, some people have said they have had not issues with their mark setter and their paints, but it did fuck up mine and had to redo that whole piece

mark softer doesnt seem to have that issue tho

nope, i just dunk my waterslide directly into my micro set bottle (that I refilled with vinegar) -- then wait a couple of secs for the slide to start to slide off and then apply directly to the kit.

I think Mark Setter is a different formula -- because it has damaged my acrylics in the past -- however I have not had that problem with vinegar/micro set
