This work adapted the bumblebee nest survey methods from previous work by Genevieve Pugesek, and it helps demonstrate the viability of good old-fashioned searching for bumblebee nests, without a need for fancy technology or other methods.

Before and after the nectar probing is also classic pollen-feeding behavior where it eats pollen by drawing the foreleg through the mouthparts
