given how much i love kurt travis' run in dance gavin dance, it took me too long to check out this band. swancore is one of my favorite subgenres and ALLB has that vibe but with an even more ecclectic, jamming sound and vocal variety (they got poetry in this shit) that makes me appreciate them a lot

i love some loudass metal and i recently discovered this japanese band. i love the vibe and aesthetic, the range of influence in their music, how excellent both the screamed and clean vocals sound. this is the kind of metalcore sound i've been trying to find more of nowadays, genuinely interesting

I fuck heavy with billie. I didn’t get to her new album until lately but she really knows how to pack a lot of emotion into every dang word. I don’t think this is my fav of her works, but maybe that’s more a testament of how good her music overall is.

i think these albums defined me the most in my high school years, and still rank among my favorites. Say what you want about LP, but their sound was raw and fucking awesome. There may be soundalikes and inspirees, but no one is doing what they did with that same level of quality and heat.

This album had captivated me long before I listened to the whole thing, and on relisten, I think this is one of the best albums I've ever heard. It's pretty ecclectic and unhinged, maybe even too horny, but there's beauty and magic in the chaos.

anyway, it wasn't released in 2024, but honorable game of the year mention goes to tunic. this was genuinely a magical experience that i might never be able to relive as a first playthrough, but am glad i had. i implore everyone to play it (without looking anything up)

Persona 3 was and still is one of the best games ever made and Reload doesn’t change that statement. There isn’t much to say other than I love it still and greatly enjoy the new content. It’s still peak.

I adore this series, and IW is another great game. Sadly, the story is the weakest in the series, often being unfocused or with some flat-out bad moments, but it doesn’t stop the characters from being memorable and the RPG gameplay being a huge step up from the previous game.

I'm starting off with my strongest contender for GOTY. While I was expecting Sonic Gen to be a good rerelease of my favorite Sonic title, I didn't expect Shadow Gen to surpass Sonic Gen in most ways.
