YouTube is aware that Payments are showing much higher than expected. They are investigating the issue, and will correct those numbers.

Twitch and CEO Dan Clancy have provided an update regarding safety at Twitchcon.

They will be making a donation to support non-profit organizations, while Clancy reiterates his apology to Emiru.
We wanted to follow up on the post we recently made about a security incident at TwitchCon San Diego. As many of you know, at the 2025 TwitchCon San Diego event, one of our valued creators, Emiru, was assaulted by an attendee during a meet-and-greet event. Although Twitch works very hard to try to keep TwitchCon attendees safe and to prevent incidents like this from happening, we failed to do both things in this case - to keep Emiru safe and to prevent the assault from happening. We deeply regret the distress we caused for Emiru, our other creators, and the entire community. In recognition of Emiru’s advocacy, Twitch will be making a donation to support non-profit organizations working to prevent sexual violence. More details on that to follow soon. Twitch failed in our response to the assault of Emiru at 2025 TwitchCon San Diego, and in particular, I failed to communicate clearly in talking about the incident afterwards during an interview. I do not believe, and in no way intended to suggest that Emiru had any responsibility whatsoever for the incident at TwitchCon. I have a great deal of empathy for what creators such as Emiru have to deal with every day; I was trying to express that, and I did that poorly. I am sorry I let you down, Emiru, and I am sorry Twitch let you down. We appreciate all that you have done over the years on Twitch and we are committed to continuing to improve our TwitchCon security, processes and communications so that we can show up better for you (and all of our creators) moving forward.

In a new update to this ongoing saga, Vertiqal Studios CEO Jon Dwyer states that they will be selling Luminosity and using the proceeds to settle the debts owed to players and creators.

He also says they've decided to keep some creators on the roster.

GTA VI delayed till November 19, 2026.

Vertical Studios (TSX: $VRTS) is releasing all of Luminosity's creators.

As part of the release, creators will receive payment for outstanding arrears dating back to the acquisition.

Australia's Under-16 Social Media ban starts on December 10th.

Recent additions, such as Roblox, Discord, and Twitch have been granted an exemption. Reddit and Kick, so far, not so lucky.

Other platforms impacted include Snapchat, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Instagram.

Affinity Studio (a rival to Adobe apps) is now free for all users.

It's a great program, and free is a good price. I think this customer acquisition strategy aims to get you hooked on the product, and then new features end up requiring a subscription. Still, worth a look!

Matthew "Mizkif" Rinaudo has filed a defamation lawsuit against Emiru and Asmongold.

He has also filed a lawsuit against OTK, Mythic Talent, and King Gaming Labs.

Rinaudo is seeking damages for reputational harm, lost earnings, and emotional distress.

Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has shared that there is now a standard link Partners can bookmark to apply for FRONT PAGE each month.

Partners select their language and then fill out the form. The application opens near the beginning of each month.

Creators signed to Luminosity are starting to call out Vertiqal Studios, as well as its CEO, Jon Dwyer, for lack of payment and communication.

Today I am removing any association I have with @Luminosity . I've been signed to the organization since August 1st and in my time over the last 3 months I have not been paid a dollar of the $3,000 I am owed. But the money is the least important thing to me. I joined Luminosity originally because of promises made to help fund events in the Minecraft content space. At the time of this tweet there has only been only radio silence. Radio silence not just to me, but to the roughly 30 other content creators that @Jon_Dwyer and his company operates. This is because Luminosity went under an ownership change in early September when Jon bought the org. Many of the creators, myself included, held out hope that eventually, surely, Jon would extend an olive branch to us given how patient, respectful, and understanding we have been during the entire process, and none of that was ever reciprocated. I'm posting this publicly not just for myself (although I am quite upset) But to also help give a voice to the other content creators who are still holding out hope with Luminosity. These are fantastic, incredible people who work hard and don't deserve the treatment they are getting. I'm incredibly lucky to be in a position where even though my girlfriend is going through expensive cancer treatment, the money is not something that makes or breaks my financial stability at the moment, but not everyone is fortunate enough to say that. There's so much more that I could mention, but this tweet is long enough. I'm incredibly sorry to my supporters who were looking forward to what this could look like for the future of Minecraft events and esports and I truly would not have signed and given hope in the first place publicly if it were not for the months before signing where there were meaningful conversations with the previous ownership group. I look forward to taking my ideas that I presented and working with other companies/organizations to make them a reality one day. Lastly I'd … This week will mark three months since I have received payment from @Luminosity , @Jon_Dwyer . My outstanding balance is now just under $10,000. @WeAreEnthusiast sold LG to Vertiqal Studios and it was taken over in the early days of September. Since then, we have not been introduced to even 1 singular person from the Vertiqal Studios team and our ONLY point of contact has been @tylernormington who (thankfully) was brought over with the transition. Unfortunately, communication with Ty has been few and far between as well but he let us know time and time again that he has just as little information. He has been left with the task of keeping his cool while trying to keep us members positive and hopeful. We were told this week we would receive any outstanding payment BY or ON Oct. 31 which I’m sure you can guess, didn’t happen. I am truly starting to believe Jon and whoever was involved in the decision of purchasing LG wanted this. Did you want the members to leave so you don’t have to pay us? I truly cannot think of a single reason why someone who is truly passionate about the org and wants to take it to new heights would be completely radio silent for this long. Jon has ignored all of our posts tagging him and hasn’t followed any of us back on here. Some of the other creators have mentioned this in our Discord but at this point, the owed money is less disappointing than that blatant lack of interest or care that the new team has for us. If I am being totally honest, Couri’s post is the first but I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t the last. I’m sorry this has been your experience, Couri. You are so very talented, hardworking and deserve to be in a space that celebrates you. I am going to continue to hold out hope but my patience, as well as my hope, are dwindling. Earlier this year I worked non stop, day and night for a month straight to win the Rising Stars competition and I have never felt more accomplished, inspired or proud of myself. I am so upset …
