As for the RCS issue, I would definitely open a GitHub ticket for it. The hard part for me is replicating it as I don't have RCS setup with my Mac. But we can always look into it

Tailscale + BlueBubbles makes an iMessage on Windows and Android less complex
Let Tailscale set up the encryption and permanent IP, and avoid port forwarding, for a BlueBubbles server.

Ahh gotcha. I was trying to avoid using a 3rd party service since this was all just for my self-hosted home lab. I instead went with using a private Discord server for sending myself notifications. But also means I can't do email analytics or anything using AI or my own algorithms

How did you give persistent OAuth access to n8n (or whatever automation software you're using). In my experience, non-production GCP apps have a 7 day access token expiration. The only way to get around that would be to get the sensitive scopes approved by Google. But u can't for personal projects.

And while technology does make certain jobs easier, it doesn't mean people will actually benefit from it. Things will just be done differently, and their work will be reallocated somewhere else. Some people won't be able to reallocate their work. It doesn't mean we will be working less...

Doesn't help that all the CEOs love to talk about how their AI will soon be doing everything under the sun. Pretty much to just drive hype about their product and raise the stock prices. When did Elon say that we'd be colonizing Mars again?

People are so stressed about their day to day lives due to constant news cycles and fear mongering, that they just don't have the drive left to focus. So it gets offloaded to AI, and we slowly lose the ability to actually think about things. We are just waiting for someone to tell us what to think.

In the 2000s, we experienced a time when an education was valued incredibly high. Now, when information is most readily available, the value that the general public puts on education is at a low point. And as a result, so is critical thinking...

Right, but you also have to take into account the dirty air. And the fact that McLaren probably doesn't want to risk the points loss if a mistake is made while in the dirty air. It's a shame it affects the cars so much. I would have loved to see some actual wheel to wheel racing...

He was faster, but I think they didn't swap them because it takes A LOT to overtake @ Suzuka's 1 DRS zone. Piastri was faster but he would have needed to get within .400 of Max to pass, and he couldn't even get there with Norris. Closest he got was like .600 once. They def played it conservative tho

This is pretty cool, didn't know it existed. If it's not too pricey, it's definitely a good option. Especially since all the new GPUs don't even have that much VRAM

The downside is it's pretty heavy with the wallet stand, but I've gotten used to it. And you can kinda use the stand part as a pop socket, to alleviate some strain

I love me some n8n. Definitely a top tier open source project. I wish I had more projects/uses for it in my daily life. I've thought about spinning up a server dedicated to it at home though
