You could see Glasner was absolutely on his heels in the first half, trying to work out the funky 3-5-2 / 3-4-3 hybrid we were playing. It's amazing the difference it's made to us, having the opposition unsure how we're going to line up.

Tore them to shreds, never mind the nature of the goals. Ampadu was brilliant. Aaronson, DCL and Rodon were right up there. Daniel seems to have struck a balance between patient build-up and direct play. We look so much more secure in defence.

Actually slightly emotional seeing Aaronson get a big ovation, coming off for Tanaka. He's an imperfect player, but when all his endeavour leads to something, he's invaluable.

DCL. Brendy. Amps. Rodon. The rest of them. Wonderful first 45', which they really built into. It's been a display that has shown what the correct balance between control and direct play can give us. Big first 10-15 minutes in this second half.

Rodon and Bijol were both familiar with playing in a back three, but I think Struijk has benefited as much as either of them from the 3-5-2. Love having the cover to protect his active defensive style, and to allow him to step forward and link up with Gudmundsson and the midfielders in attack.

Decent away performance in that half. We've created at least as much as them, with far less possession. Okafor troubling them for pace. Perris' distribution has been bad all season, but today, it has threatened to hurt us. First ten minutes of the second half crucial. Don't concede!

I honestly thought that Salah was primed to rip us to shreds off the bench the other night. Gudmundsson on a yellow card, tired cover defenders. Instead, I think we broke his brain. Delightful.

These last two matches really go to show that you don't know where your points are coming from. Dropping points to Burnley, Fulham and Forrest, but taking five out of Newcastle, Chelsea and Liverpool. Funny old game, anybody?

I'LL TAKE THAT! An avalanche of goals, set off by an uncharacteristic mistake by Rodon, but the lads continued to give the effort we've come to expect. Farke in credit for his tactical changes throughout. DCL did all he could up top, and will appreciate a full week of rest before we go again.

The extra man created by a misread from Ampadu, who stepped forward to close the ball down on halfway instead of tracking his midfield runner. For all his strengths, Amps is horrendous at counting players and tracking runners. 2-3
