And basically is the same as saying “Don’t you understand I already know everything is terrible?” without realizing that reporting like this that sheds a light on the terrible things is one of the best ways to fight back against it.

I've always been more of a lurker than poster in both places, but it still feels small enough here that you can post something genuine and not have it fall away in a mindless engagement algorithm.
