you'd probably have a much easier time drawing with something that has a screen on it then yeah

depends to everyone,, i cannot draw on a tablet with no screen because i can't see my hand so it's definitely far easier to draw with one that has a screen since you can pretty well see what you're doing
but then again i am not too well versed on tablets themselves since i draw on an ipad 😭

the paper thing on screens is a screen protector you have to buy and add yourself
no clue if some tablets do have one already on but i doubt that
