This horrendous - protesters led by Craig Houston and don't have children attending the school are harrassing the actual mums of the kids attending the school
During Monday’s demonstration, two women were led out through the school gates after completing their English classes inside. An activist was heard to identify one of the women, make criminal allegations against her, and tell others at the demonstration where she lived. Others signed up to attend the classes did not do so due to concern about the protest, The National was told. All of the women enrolled in the English language classes have children at the Dalmarnock school, it is understood. Reports ahead of the protest had said it was being led by a self-styled paedophile hunter named Alex Cairnie and the right-wing podcaster Craig Houston. However, locals at the event – who declined to give their name but said they do not currently have children at the school – said they had organised it and asked the pair to attend.

It's not gonna affect just trans people either - anyone who don't look conventionally feminine could be banned if other users of the facility think you look kinda trans and you are not willing to let them check your genitals. How can this be a win for women??

My understanding is that the £300 promise was predicated on the grid getting rid of gas (which is expensive) - the current government policy of adding expensive stuff like CCS and nuclear will make sure the bills will stay high beyond 2030😔
Labour backbencher Kirsteen Sullivan (above) asked McGrail about the commitment, saying: “The Government has said that it aims to cut energy bills by up to £300 by 2030. Are you confident that can be delivered?” The GB Energy boss said: “It’s a much wider programme. Big parts of that are down to Government policy, wider Government policy and it’s not for me to comment on. “What I can say is GB Energy’s activities will work to have an impact in the areas that I’ve already outlined.”

For the first time, he said Google would "over time" take a step that is being pushed for in government to "train our models" in the UK - a move that cabinet ministers believe would cement the UK as the number three AI "superpower" after the US and China. "We are committed to investing in the UK in a pretty significant way," Mr Pichai said. However, he also warned about the "immense" energy needs of AI, which made up 1.5% of the world's electricity consumption last year, external, according to the International Energy Agency. Mr Pichai said action was needed, including in the UK, to develop new sources of energy and scale up energy infrastructure. "You don't want to constrain an economy based on energy, and I think that will have consequences," he said.

Just noticed this comment from John Curtice on the FindOutNow poll in September. Is this the standard Q they always use? If so that can also explain the Alba amplification.
