yeah like wild someone in fandom doesn't enjoy the whimsy and magic that is displaying stuff you love, plus even before I ever was in fandom my older brother was going to conventions etc and coming home with signed merch, prints etc so it's been around forever it's nothing new 🤨

not to mention their whole thing was "selling fanfic access" when the most of the fic is on AO3 already and the last 2 chapters WILL be on there... even the art for the fic are available on ao3 and artists social media so you're not selling some exclusive access....
