Into the good beers

Thanking dinner, clockwise from top left:
Gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberries, roasted turkey, from-scratch green bean casserole

I have officially had my first ever Thanksgiving disaster.

Dropped a glass bowl on the stove with multiple pans going, visible glass in one pan.

One was a just-started gravy, which I'm restarting. The second was the ~10 hour demi, which I am currently attempting to pass through a coffee filter.

First dishwasher load is running!

Green beans blanched

Mashed potatoes prepped. 3 lbs of potato, 1/2 lb of butter.

(Once chilled will be topped with more butter)

Done with coffee

Overnight stock means waking up to the house already smelling like Thanksgiving!

This is a carcass, wings, neck, and 3 pounds of mirepoix simmered for eighteen hours

That's more or less what I'm going for!
