I’m a career creative director who’s created more logos, packaging, websites, videos, publications, and campaigns than I can count.

I’d rather see this kind of thing every single day over that slick, soulless, genAI slop you “designed” with a glorified chatbot.

And it isn’t even close.

In difficult times like these, I take comfort in the fact that I was pretty much born to have a teenage daughter.
A collection of Conan Gray friendship bracelets I made with the Teen, with song references including: Affluenza; Apple Apple; Wilson ♥️ Brando; It’s Just Polyester; Ur No Romeo; Summerchild. We’re making more tonight. Unbeknownst to the Teen, I snagged two of the exclusive CD releases the day they came out. As it turns out, they were the two she wanted most because they include jewelry. When I showed her the shipping receipt she just about plotzed. She posted the confirmation to her Instagram story with the following caption: “I think I’m gonna faint 😭 @yulooloo thank you for supporting my addiction.”
