Our paper on “Do Expressions Change Decisions? Exploring the Impact of AI’s Explanation Tone on Decision-Making” (w/ A. Okoso and M. Yang) has been accepted at #CHI2025! We found the tone of AI explanations influences human decision-making, and this effect varies depending on user attributes.
